Rules
The short version: coins here are for 4chan posters, the poster gets most of the fees, the launcher gets none, and nobody can claim what isn't theirs. The Terms of Use and Disclosures have the full wording.
Where the fees go
- Every coin's creator fees are split 65% to the poster, 10% to the 4cash treasury, and 25% to buying back and burning $4CASH.
- Whoever launched the coin gets none of the fees, except a launcher reward of 0%, which comes out of the poster's part.
- Once a poster is verified, their share locks to their wallet 24 hours later, for good. The fees collected before that go to the same wallet.
- Payouts go out automatically, about every hour, once a coin has at least 0.01 SOL waiting. Below that, sending costs more than it moves.
Claiming
- Only the poster can claim: whoever posts with the tripcode's password, or whoever wrote the thread or post (same poster ID in that thread). A wallet address on its own proves nothing.
- You claim by posting a code on 4chan. The post must carry your code and be posted after the code was made. Copied codes don't count: they show up under someone else's tripcode or ID.
- Your code only pays the wallet you gave when you asked for it. An unused code expires after 7 days.
- You have 14 days from a coin's launch to claim it.
- A thread's starter, or a post's author, has to reply while the thread is up. Once it's archived, a reply already posted can still be sent in for 24 hours.
- Fees nobody claims in time go 100% to the treasury.
Launching
- You must be 18 or older to launch or claim.
- A coin can be for a secure tripcode (two !!), or for a thread or any post in it, while the thread is up, on a board with poster IDs (/biz/, /pol/, /bant/, /qst/, /soc/). On any other board, a link to a post made with a secure tripcode works too: the coin is for that tripcode. Old single-# tripcodes are refused because they can be cracked.
- The description is at most 256 characters, including the line we add at the end saying who the fees are held for and that the coin is fan-made.
- The coin links to its page here unless you give your own https:// website.
- Use an image you made or have the right to use. Nothing is taken from 4chan.
- Don't say or suggest the coin is official, endorsed by the poster, or connected to 4chan.
- Launching means you agree to the Terms of Use and have read the Disclosures.
Not allowed
- Money laundering, getting around sanctions, fraud, and scams.
- Market manipulation: wash trading, fake volume, hidden bundled wallets, fake partnerships or listings, promises of returns.
- Pretending to be someone, harassing anyone, or posting anyone's private information.
- Using names, art or marks you have no right to.
- Getting around an opt-out or a removal, for example by relaunching for the same poster under another name.
- We may hide coins, refuse launches, or hold payouts when the law requires it or when these rules are broken.
Opting out
- A poster can opt out with one post, proved the same way as a claim. It works right away.
- Once opted out: their coins are hidden from the board, the catalog, search and their page; anyone opening a coin by its link sees that they opted out; new coins for them are refused; and fees already earned and future fees are never paid to them. Those go to the treasury.
- Can't post as them? Send a removal request from the poster's page. A person reads every request, usually within 7 days.
- Payouts already sent and anything on the blockchain can't be undone, and a coin on pump.fun can't be deleted by anyone. Opting out stops this site, not pump.fun.
